Thank You Letter from the Congregation of the Miraculous Image

We respectfully greet Father Joseph Phong Nguyen and our esteemed benefactors,

I am sister Christine Y Đưng, belonging to the Congregation of the Miraculous Image in Kon Tum. Recently, we have received assistance from the charity of: Divine Mission for the Poor. With the help of the Association, we purchased a Honda motorbike for the Thang Thien Sewing Community for Ethnic Minority Girls in Kon Tum.

The Thang Thien Sewing House of the Congregation Miraculous Image is a vocational training center for ethnic minority girls from remote areas who do not have the opportunity to attend high school (from grade 10 onwards).

The girls requested to stay in the boarding school and learn sewing with the Sisters. Each training course lasts 15 months. This course has 26 girls.

These children come from impoverished families, so the Sisters provide them with food, accommodation, sewing supplies, and other necessities. We hope that the Divine Mission for the Poor, Inc will be an extension of the Sisters’ support to help these children learn a trade, gain knowledge, and have a better future life.

We sincerely thank you Father Joseph and all our benefactors for their open hearts, love, and generosity in helping us. May God always reward and bless Father and all our benefactors.

On the Lular New Year, we wish Father and all our benefactors abundant health, more wisdom, virtue, peace, and full of God’s blessings in the year to come.

Sister. Christine Y Đưng
