I send my heartfelt thoughts to charity: DIVINE MISSION FOR THE POOR, INC.
Dear Father Joseph Phong Nguyen: Although you live far away, you always care about and understand the difficult circumstances of the students and impoverished people in the Central Highlands region. We thank you, Father.
Dear all benefactors,
It has been a great joy for us (The Congregation of Queen of Peace, MRP) to have served for the past 15 years in Bon Bu Sop and many other villages in Dong Gia Nghia ward, Lam Dong province, for the ethnic minority people of the Chau Ma, K’ Ho, M’ Nong, Giao Do, H’ Mong… during a time when the people were still struggling, eating forest plants, hunting, and drinking river water.
Over time, they were exposed to missionaries and gradually underwent significant changes, abandoning outdated customs such as: if a pet in the house gave birth, family members were forbidden from leaving their homes for two days, or if someone in the village died unjustly, neighbors had to go into the forest for a week, and upon returning, they had to offer a big cow as a sacrifice to the village…
Nowadays, they feel more confident by following God than before. They have learned to find clean water for drinking and household use.
In 2025, Father Joseph had an opportunity to visit our village. He donated to us to build a clean water well to serve the health needs of the people here. Every morning, noon, and evening, the villagers bring buckets to get water for their use. Every family is happy and joyful. We are very grateful for Father’s kindness and the generosity of everyone. This is also a good opportunity for us to understand, get closer to one another, and love our brothers and sisters more. We must open wide our hearts to welcome everyone, even the most unfortunate.

Joy followed joy upon seeing the malnourished children in the village. We once again appealed to Father Joseph to provide breakfast ration for children (5,000 Vietnamese currency per child each morning). The loaves of bread and cups of milk were varied each morning, bringing happiness to the children and peace of mind to the parents, who no longer had to lose working hours (as they were hired laborers and had to be punctual), and their children received extra nutrition.

We are laborers sent to the missionary field to serve, and we sincerely thank you Father Joseph and all of you for your kindness in helping the poor and needy in the villages, bringing them more joy and prosperity each day.
We respectfully ask Father Joseph and all of you to continue to support us so that we may have better conditions to serve these poor and needy brothers and sisters.
Once again, we sincerely thank you Father and all of you.
May God bless and bestow abundant blessings upon Father and all of you.
